I thought I was ready to start posting daily and I blew it the second day. Life has been so hectic around here lately that Sunday turned into a lazy day. But on Monday, I turned on my sewing machine for the first time this month. I signed up with "Quilts for Kids" and finally got busy and sewed the top together. It's so great. They mail you the pattern and fabric and all you do is supply the batting and time. This is a worthwhile organization for anyone or any group to get involved with.
Today was an awesome day!!! I don't know where the motivation came from but I accomplished sooo much. Laundry done, pieced a second quilt and just need to sew the blocks together tomorrow, dinner cooked and... took a walk. I can't remember the last time I did that. I can't believe how good it made me feel. I decided to start out slow and walk 10 minutes out and see how long it took me to get back. Eleven minutes, not bad. I thought the road, beside our house was nice and flat, NOT! I could not believe how tired my legs were. Now I'm working on some bluework. And tomorrow I'll post pictures of all the work I got done today. If I can figure it out.

It's Time
Today is the day that I officially start my own blog. After reading others for so long, I think I'm ready to take the plunge. I think this will be a great way for me to keep a journal of my quilting journey. I don't know what will happen or if anyone will even read this, but that's okay, it's for me anyway. My plan is to post something everyday.
